The Armagh joint-captain kicked seven points as the Orchard side claimed a narrow win in Omagh
Aidan Nugent landed a free with virtually the last kick of the game to give Cullyhana a narrow, but deserved one-point win over Pomeroy in O’Neills Healy Park on Saturday night.
The Plunkett's levelled and the game looked destined for extra-time before Nugent kicked a dramatic late free to clinch the victory for the Armagh side. The remainder of the first half followed a similar theme with no more an two points separating the sides at any one time.Duffin and Nugent scored four points each for their respective sides, but the score of the half came from wing-back Brendan Burns following an excellent defensive clearance from Pomeroy full-back Hugh Pat McGeary as the Plunkett’s lead 0-6 to 0-5 at half-time.
