Introducing Cyclone, the new Irish Powerlifter joining the iconic 'Gladiators' gameshow. This season promises to be tougher and more powerful than ever, featuring the return of legendary events and a brand-new challenge called 'Unleash'.
A new series of the iconic sports entertainment gameshow is upon us, featuring a fresh batch of Contenders who will face off against the superhuman Gladiators in five brutal events. This grueling challenge culminates in the ultimate test of speed and strength – the Eliminator.
Series two is bolder and more powerful than ever before, not only with the long-awaited return of the legendary Atlaspheres and the introduction of a brand-new event, Unleash, but also with the arrival of some formidable new Gladiators. First up is 23-year-old Cyclone, an Irish Powerlifter who stands at 5 foot 10 and considers herself the ultimate all-round athlete. Cyclone is a force to be reckoned with, bringing a dark feminine energy and embodying strength and athleticism. She's not afraid to own her space. Powerful, determined, and straight-talking, Cyclone isn't there to make friends – she's there to win. Cyclone describes her Gladiator's strongest character traits as laser focus, physical strength, speed, agility, and overall power. She believes her size and strength make her a natural at Duel, and her quickness and impactful tackles make her a threat in Powerball. Her training approach revolves around working backward from her desired outcome. For example, if she wants to improve at Powerball, she trains in short sprints with quick changes of direction. If she wants to master The Wall, she climbs more. She enjoys a varied split, finding fulfillment in every aspect of her training. When Cyclone first saw the set, she was awestruck. The projections that encompass the entire arena are electrifying, and the atmosphere is unbelievable. As an athlete accustomed to performing in front of a crowd, the experience in Sheffield was extraordinary. The audience was wild, creating an electric energy that fueled Cyclone's performance. Audiences can expect a thrilling spectacle in the new series. The other Gladiators have raised the bar with their performances, and the addition of two new Gladiators, one of whom Cyclone describes as the most intense and powerful (herself, of course), adds another layer of excitement and adrenaline. Cyclone considers Barney and Bradley great to work with, noting their enthusiasm for the events, though she suspects they might be a little intimidated by her
