Cyndi Lauper puts on a stylish display as she arrives to the premiere of her new documentary 'Let The Canary Sing' in Los Angeles. The iconic singer dons a chic yellow suit.
Cyndi Lauper put on a radiant display in an eye-catching ensemble as she attended the star-studded screening of her documentary, Let The Canary Sing, in L.A. on Tuesday.
Lauper accessorized the look with a pair of glittering, silver earrings as well as a few rings on each of her hands. Cyndi struck a variety of poses upon arriving to the venue to better show off her outfit ahead of the screening. 'When I first met Alison Ellwood, I knew right away I could trust her to tell my story honestly, which was incredibly important to me, and she succeeded in that.'
Lauper was supported by her sister, Elen, who sported a blue button up as well as a tan-colored blazer and matching trousers 'Or maybe they don't say that anymore. I don't know. Maybe parents don't say that. But it's so amazing when you get to a point in your life where, when you go to the family gathering, and everybody used to question you...'
Other celebrities made an appearance at the screening, including Emily Deschanel who wowed in a short-sleeved, blue-patterned dress. She also joined both Emily and Cyndi to take photos together on the red carpet before the screening commenced Her hair was parted to the side, and cascaded down in light waves to brush past the tips of her shoulders.
The comedian layered the outfit with a cropped, dark gray blazer and was seen gently carrying an adorable pup in her arms. Let The Canary Sing - which was directed by Alison Ellwood - officially premiered on Paramount+ on Tuesday She donned an all-black ensemble as she took part in the special event, and received moving tributes from fellow music artists, Cher and Bebe Rexha.
She added, 'I remember growing up as a little girl in New York City, and I remember dancing around to one of my mother's favorite artists - who was Cyndi - and she quickly became one of my favorite artists.' Rexha also had sweet words for Cyndi and stated, 'It is such an incredible honor to be here today to celebrate the illustrious career of a true icon, Cyndi Lauper'; seen in 1985
'Because this is the strongest I am, and in five years I don't know where I'm gonna be. I still do my yoga...and you know, I work out, I do yoga, I do , I do vocal exercises.'
