The players on West Ranch’s girls flag football team are getting ready to play their first season as a CIF Southern Section team. This will be an exciting week for three new high school girls flag football teams in the Santa Clarita Valley.Wednesday: Rio Mesa at Valencia, 7:30 p.m.The Vikings launch into their inaugural flag football season with three games this week. If the flag football program can get close to the success of Valencia’s tackle football program , it should be in good shape.
The Valencia girls flag football team is in its first season as a program. The team will be playing its first games of the 2024 season this week. The Wildcats will play their debut game at home Wednesday, they hope it’s the start of something great. The Hawks are looking forward to some some tough tests this season, especially in the Foothill League.
