The Leeds United boss only has one thing on his mind and it's not the end-of-season play-offs
Regardless of what Ipswich Town do against Coventry City on Tuesday night, the race for the second Championship promotion spot is going to the final day of the season. And for that reason, Daniel Farke is refusing to even speak of the play-offs.
While it's easy to be despondent after the 4-0 defeat to QPR, which hardly sets Leeds up for a stirring last-day performance, Farke insists he will only focus on that Elland Road showdown with the Saints, as anything else would send the wrong message to his squad.READ MORE: Kieran McKenna praises 'wonderful' Ipswich Town game as Leeds United receive promotion boost
"My focus, as long as everything is possible, and as it stands it is possible, is just on chasing the top two, not on the play-offs at all. So my focus is just on winning the last home game to give ourselves a chance to finish in the top two and, once this is not possible, then we can speak about the play-offs.
Leeds have a superior goal difference to Ipswich, which could be a deciding factor if the two sides finish level on points next weekend. Ipswich's game at Coventry gets under way at 8pm at the Coventry Building Society Arena on Tuesday night.
