Teen daughter holds back tears as Brit mum relives horror of facing jail in Dubai over ‘horse’ Facebook post
THE daughter of British woman arrested in Dubai after calling her ex-husband’s wife a “horse” has choked back tears as the pair relived their ordeal.
His new wife Samah Al Hammadi had reported to the Dubai police that Laleh had called her a "horse" on Facebook back in 2016. She was asked about a letter she wrote to Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to help her mother. Laleh said she was reconciled with her husband after their divorce and said she was stunned when she was detained at Dubai airport.
"They wanted me to go to a police station to make my statement but they weren't allowed to take Paris with them. They wanted me to call someone to come and take Paris away.
