Goalkeeper David Raya completes a £27m move to Arsenal after a season-long loan at the Emirates.
Arsenal have activated the £27m option to permanently buy Brentford goalkeeper David Raya after his successful loan spell last season.
Arsenal already had a settled keeper in Aaron Ramsdale, who had played all 38 of their matches the previous season, keeping 14 clean sheets, but boss Mikel Arteta opted for a new option. “We know he will take the strong foundations he put in place last season and build on them in the years to come, and that he will enjoy more success with us."
But he ended up missing only two league matches, when he was ineligible to face his parent club Brentford.
