Actor and TV presenter David Walliams visited some local businesses in Newton Mearns over the weekend while in the town for a book signing.
The 52-year-old was in the area to promote his latest children's book, The Blunders, reports Glasgow Live. And although he didn't meet the local candlestick maker, after his visit to the butchers, he was treated to a slice of lamington cake from the bakers - Jingers, in Rutherglen.
