From her way with double denim to her penchant for a slogan tee, her personal style was honed in the 1970s and and ’80s, when she was a permanent fixture on the New York nightlife scene as Blondie’s frontwoman. Fast forward to today, and Harry is back in the headlines, having made a surprise appearance at New York Fashion Week on Coach’s autumn/winter 2020 runway.
The show opened with the Coathangers performing a cover of the classic Blondie track “One Way Or Another”, before the real deal strode down the runway in a graffiti print dress – part of Coach’s collaboration with the estate of the artist Jean-Michel Basquiat – and a camel leather coat.
