The Met Office had previously said the warning would be in place until this morning but it has now been extended
The Met Office originally issued the warning, in place from 10pm on Saturday January 14 until 10am this morning , amid fears that icy surfaces could lead to walkers and motorists suffering injuries. However, the warning has now been extended, and will be in place until 10am on Monday January 16.
