Denise Richards has revealed she was sexually assaulted at the age of 15 while taking part in Special Forces : World’s Toughest Test. She admitted to only ever telling her husband Aaron Phypers about the assault and broke down in tears as she spoke about her trauma. Denise is participating in the show to learn how to deal with fear and past traumas, hoping to become stronger and better equipped to protect herself.
She shared the story while discussing her struggles with freezing and being unable to function in terrifying situations. Denise is also a mother of three daughters and hopes they will never experience the same trauma she did
