Homicide investigators are asking for the public’s help in finding a woman suspected of being involved in a 2022 fatal shooting of a 37-year-old man in Oceanside. Aarin “Angel” Sorenson was identified by detectives Thursday as the fourth suspect connected to the slaying of Jacob Sanders on Dec. 26, 2022, in a riverbed near Benet Road and Highway 76, Oceanside Detective Mark Theriot said.
Because of the large area where the shooting was reported, it took investigators nearly two weeks to locate Sanders’ body in a nearby 20-acre lot. During their investigation, detectives learned Sanders was killed after a fight with another group of people in an encampment, Theriot said. Hedrick, Pittman and Saolotoga were all arrested in the following weeks. Sorenson is known to frequent Oceanside and Tijuana and could possibly be in the Las Vegas area, investigators said.
