The Glens kicked off the new season with a 1-0 defeat to Crusaders
Declan Devine has played down talk of a confidence crisis at Glentoran as he backed his senior players to carry the club to new heights this season.
“We were disappointed with our own performance. We didn’t play to the levels we could in a difficult game," he said. His first transfer window has seen several high-profile players leave the Oval, while last Friday's curtain-raiser against Crusaders saw league debuts handed to Daniel Gyollai, Wassim Aouachria, Dylan Connolly and Frankie Hvid.
