More showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast as we get into the middle of the week.
Low threat of severe weather and multiple inches of rain possibleHighs will stay 80° or above for most of North Texas. There could be some highs in the 70s here or there depending on rain and cloud cover.Bottom line: The pattern turns unsettled through the weekend with daily chances for rain. It won't rain all day every day everywhere in North Texas, but rain is possible each day. As of now, the overall severe threat looks low each day, but it is spring and some storms could be severe.
More rain will fall in parts of North Texas Friday through the weekend, but certainly won't rain constantly and everywhere during that time.Between Wednesday and Sunday around 2in to 3in is possible across most of the area. That likely won't fall all at once, but multiple rounds of rain through the weekend will add up to around 2in to 3in through Sunday.
Since the ground is already soggy, we'll have to watch for any flooding issues with heavier rounds of rain.
