Dr Sam Choudhury recently took a trip with his friend and noticed something that could indicate diabetes.
A doctor has sounded the alarm after spotting a "suspicious" habit in his friend that could be a diabetes red flag. Dr Sam Choudhury, known as Skingapore on social media , shared a video from a recent trip with a mate where he observed a worrying sign.
Dr Choudhury expressed his concern, saying: "It was the waking up at 4am to pee that was highly suspicious...I was worried, and reminder that diabetes doesn't just happen to the older and heavier people." Type 1 diabetes occurs when the body's immune system attacks and destroys the cells that produce insulin. On the other hand, type 2 diabetes arises when the body either doesn't make enough insulin or fails to use it effectively.
