The Department of Health-Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD) 4A and the local government unit (LGU) of Tanza broke ground for a new super health center in Barangay Daang Amaya 1 on Thursday, June 1. | ManilaBulletin
The ceremony was led by DOH-CHD 4A Regional Director Ariel I. Valencia, Mayor Yuri A. Pacumio, Board Members Francisco Gabriel "Abeng" Remulla and Munding Del Rosario, Vice Mayor Angelo Simon Matro, and other local officials.According to DOH-CHD 4A ,the two-story Tanza Super Health Center will offer specialized health services, such as an outpatient department as well as laboratory, x-ray, ultrasound, birthing, diagnostic, pharmacy, and emergency services.
Valencia stated that the health facility would strengthen the health referral system in Tanza and accommodate more Tanzeños needing health services. The P11.2-million project will be funded by the Health Facility Enhancement Program of DOH under the General Appropriations Act 2023.
