Dolly Parton has announced she is releasing a beauty line called “Dolly Beauty” with its first drop being her “Heaven’s Kiss Lipstick Collection” which includes colors like Jolene Red and Birthday Suit.
Dolly Parton has a new 9 to 5. The country music icon is coming out with her own makeup line, which she first teased on Instagram Aug. 13. Parton shared a photo of herself holding a tube of lipstick while sitting in a makeup chair. She captioned the post, “I feel glamorous on the inside, so I want to look like it on the outside… something is coming @dollybeauty 💄.” In the comments, fans said they were excited for what was to come next. “Clutching my credit card,” one person wrote.
As a lover of cosmetics, Parton told WWD that she knew exactly what she wanted her line to be. “Every time I put on makeup, I’ll find certain things I want to put in the line. A great, thicker gloss, or a pearly gloss, or something that I’ve used and will find in an old drawer I remember loving,” she said. “Lord knows, nobody wears more makeup than me, so I know all the little things I want.” Parton noted that she’s also heavily involved with her line.
