Everton open talks with striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin over a new contract.
The 27-year-old joined the Toffees from Sheffield United for £1.5m in 2016 and has scored 68 goals in 248 games for the club.
Former England international Young, 38, joined Everton on a free transfer last summer and played 31 Premier League games in 2023-24. Earlier this month, director of football Kevin Thelwell said the club will need to trade sustainably because of their financial situation
