Former President Donald Trump received a warning about a possible vice president pick this week.On Wednesday, Washington Examiner political correspondent and Fox News contributor Byron York appeared on Fox News' Fox & Friends to discuss recent remarks by Trump, where he possibly teased choosing Florida Senator Marco Rubio as his running mate in 2024.
However, Rubio may face a dilemma in this scenario if he were to become Trump's vice president, as York noted on Wednesday.While there's no rule prohibiting the president and vice president from being from the same state, Article 12 of the U.S. Constitution states that electors in the Electoral College may not cast two votes from their same state.
