Djay Marques, 26, has been jailed for four and a half years following a crash that left three people with life-changing injuries. Marques fled the scene but was eventually caught and sentenced at Shrewsbury Crown Court.
Djay Marques , 26, of Carisbrooke Road, Wednesbury, West Midlands, was sentenced to four and a half years in prison at Shrewsbury Crown Court on November 29, 2023, after pleading guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving and other offenses following a crash in Shropshire . Marques was involved in a serious crash in November 2023 on Parkway in Woodside, Telford, where three people suffered life-changing injuries.
He fled the scene but was eventually caught following a manhunt and handed himself in to the police in June 2024. The crash caused extensive damage and required the fire service to free the occupants
