A 74-year-old woman is in hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a Land Rover in Cheshire. The pensioner was struck at around 5pm on November 6, along the Clayton Bypass near Congleton.
The victim was rushed to hospital from the scene. She remains there with serious injuries, Cheshire Constabulary said. The driver of the car, a 42-year-old man, was uninjured.Enquiries in relation to the collision are ongoing. Police are now urging any witnesses or anyone with video footage of the incident to come forward.
