Chief Inspector Lorraine Napier, West Area Commander, Road Policing Division, said:"During this cold snap it’s really important to check the safety of your vehicle and to clear it before you drive."If it’s been frosty, scrape all your windows, not just your full windscreen but also your side windows.

Chief Inspector Napier added:"Today is a beautiful day but there is low sun and that can seriously affect visibility for driving, so we ask all road users to drive to the conditions and take that into consideration."spokesperson said:"Road Policing officers today, Thursday, December 15, 2022, stopped a number of vehicles as part of a festive safety and drink/drug driving initiative in Govan today.
