The 5th annual edition of the autumn special for Dumfries and Galloway, the Wild Goose Festival, will have its biggest programme yet, running for 10 days from Friday, October 18 to 27, with plenty of family-friendly activities.

The festival’s lead producer, Sal Cuddihy, said: “This year we’ve focused on developing our programme of activity, offering more opportunities for locals and visitors to Dumfries and Galloway to engage with those organisations involved and the activities being produced through the festival. Combining creativity and interactive education, it will showcase the unique and diverse habitat of Dumfries and Galloway, and the wildlife that live here or visits with event and ticket details now available online at: wildgoosefestival.scot.

“Our officer team are thrilled to be working alongside The Stove and a host of others sharing this through the brilliant festival programme of wildlife experiences, family events, creative workshops and more.”
