A spurned teenager flew into a fit of rage and smashed up a car after his ex-girlfriend squirted tomato ketchup in his face. Ellis Daley's former partner grabbed the plastic squeezy bottle from her shopping and doused him in sauce after he confronted her in the street about their split.
"In the first criminal damage matter, the complainant had been parked up outside her home address along with a friend," Gayle McCoubrey, prosecuting, told Warrington Magistrates' Court. "The defendant turned up and demanded she to speak to him but she told him to go away."He then said 'watch what I am going to do now' and kicked the driver's wing mirror causing the plastic to fall to the ground and the mirror to turn in.
Daley, of Cunningham Road, Widnes, admitted three charges of criminal damage. Hewas fined £40 and ordered to pay £400 compensation, with £199 costs.
