After multiple delays, the highly-anticipated movie Dune: Part Two has been given a new March 15, 2024 release date. The sci-fi film stars Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya.
The sequel is being co-produced with Legendary Entertainment in addition to Warner Bros. Film Group.
The second of the two-part adaptation of the 1965 novel Dune by Frank Herbert was initially slated for an October 20, 2023 release.The strikes by the two unions come with some restrictions that prohibit actors from participating in press for struck films.In addition to Zendaya and Chalamet, the cast includes Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Dave Bautista, Christopher Walken, Lea Seydoux, and more.
One point of contention in the labor dispute against the Alliance Of Motion Picture And Television Producers is the issue of residual payments from streaming services.
