The DVLA has issued a message to all driving licence holders in the UK as the motoring body urges drivers to do one important thing to make it easier to manage their motoring affairs.
The DVLA has called on motorists to get online and "create an online" account as they took to X, formerly known as Twitter to highlight the benefits.
They added: "Create an account and you can receive vehicle tax reminders by text or email and renew your photocard driving licence, and view your driving record and more!" The service also allows users to add and monitor their vehicles' details, such as MOT expiry dates, verify vehicle tax rates, set up email and SMS tax reminders for those who pay biannually or annually, and opt out of postal tax reminders.
