The change will impact those on benefits who claim free prescriptions
The Department for Work and Pensions has made a change to how free prescriptions work for benefit claimants.
The eligibility criteria will stay the same but the way claimants register that they are entitled to free medication will change - reports the Manchester Evening News.CHECK YOUR PAYSLIP:HMRC giving up to £900 to those with certain pay slip codes On some forms, this check box only asks if the patient is receiving income-related Jobseekers Allowance, which can be confusing for those who are on the new-style Universal Credit, who are meant to just tick the box anyway.
