A dying mum who was told she just had months left to live after waking up paralysed is putting together a scrapbook so her son will remember her. Erica Laszlo, 26, was rushed to hospital by her partner after she woke up unable to move on September 18 this year. Erica's body was frozen from the waist down. Doctors first feared the young mum had sciatica - which causes pain that radiates from the lower back down the back of the leg, into the foot.

'Some days are better than others, some days I am just trying to process what was told to me. I don't want to leave my son behind but I don't seem to have an option.' She said: 'I couldn't move at all, I was taken to the emergency room but they had no idea what was going on.
