Eamonn Holmes, the 65-year-old TV presenter, shared his current health challenges on his breakfast show, emphasizing the difficulties of traveling during the Christmas season while using a wheelchair.
TV presenter Eamonn Holmes has revealed a heartbreaking health update, saying it's 'really really difficult' lately. The 65-year-old presenter, currently in a wheelchair, spoke out on his breakfast show today about people travelling home for Christmas, saying: 'The train definitely could be a dream, but I'm now sort of 'wheelchair laden'. You rely on a lot of people to get you on and off. It's very, very difficult doing that.
His co-host, Isabel Webster, interjected, 'Well, it's a consideration for lots of people in the same position as you, Eamonn.' He has been struggling to walk unaided after having surgery back in 2022 for a slipped disc and a double hip-replacement in 2016. He now relies increasingly on his wheelchair and admitted at the start of the year that he may never walk again.
