The shop on the junction of Newtownards Road and Dee Street has been robbed twice this week
Police are appealing for information following reports of an armed robbery at a shop on Newtownards Road, at the junction with Dee Street, at 7am on Friday, November 15.
The incident took place around 24 hours after the shop was robbed by a knife man on the morning of Thursday, November 14.Detective Sergeant Alexander said: “Police received a report shortly before 7am on Friday morning that a masked man had entered a shop on the Newtownards Road, near its junction with Dee Street, and threatened a male staff member with a knife.
“The suspect was described as being approximately 6’ tall, of medium build and was wearing a hooded top.
