Ellie Murray was terrified when she woke up on Wednesday morning to see a thug's failed attempt at forcing his way into her home and brother's car on Buchandyke Road.
A resident on a quiet street in South Lanarkshire has admitted to feeling "unsafe" after a strange man was caught trying to break into her property.
She claims a car was broken into the night before, on Buchandyke Road in East Kilbride, which prompted her to check her doorbell camera footage where she saw her property had been targeted at around 1am.READ MORE: Empty shops around Glasgow's Sauchiehall Street set for boost in bid to find new tenantsThe footage shows a man - dressed in black shorts, a jacket and t-shirt - walking up towards her house and trying to open the door.
"It makes me feel unsafe on my own street, it also worries me that the man will prey on pensioners doors and take advantage of them."After Ellie shared the footage on social media, locals commented on how the exact same man was spotted trying to break into their homes too.
