EastEnders boss, Chris Clenshaw, has discussed the BBC One soap's explosive twist on Wednesday night, where Rose Knight was actually revealed to be Cindy Beale
Up until now, Cindy, who is also the ex-wife of long running character Ian Beale, had widely been believed to have died in childbirth while serving time in prison, but as it emerged on Wednesday, rumours of Cindy’s death had been greatly exaggerated.
Talking about the explosive bombshell and what fans can expect next, Chris confirmed that Ian Beale, played by Adam Woodyatt, will be making a comeback alongside Cindy, played by Michelle Collins. "Cindy’s been sorely missed from our screens, and we’re delighted that she’ll be returning to Walford, alongside Ian, permanently later this year.
Speaking on her return, Michelle Collins said: "For over 25 years I’ve constantly been asked ‘are you going back’ and now finally I can say I am!
