Ahead of Cindy Beale's long-awaited EastEnders return, fans of the soap have shared their theories as to why she abandoned her second family and identity of Rose Knight
EastEnders fans are convinced they've worked out the reason Cindy Beale abandoned her second family, the Knights, a number of years ago.
However, Cindy later abandoned her second family without warning and disappeared to France, where she somehow reunited with her ex-husband Ian Beale and their son Peter. Others weren't so convinced, with one arguing that perhaps George asked her to leave, commenting: "I think George might know a bit more than he’s letting on - I think after Lucy died in 2014 she revealed everything to him about her other life and he actually told her to leave to ‘protect’ the girls.
"I actually [am] more scared for the showdown between Cindy and Bobby – How will she react when she sees Bobby knowing what he did to Lucy. I hope it won't trigger his OCD again,” penned one fan.
