EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick has revealed that co-star Jazzy Phoenix had some apprehensions about starring on the show, amid worries that she’d “step on” Danielle Harold’s toes.
“Jazzy who's come in and played Nadine – do you know what the best thing about that is she was so aware of Danielle's space,” he told the Mirror while at the Pride of Britain Awards on Sunday 8 October. “Jay does go to one or two dark places,” he told OK! at the Inside Soap Awards. “After Lola’s death, it got a bit quiet for me in particular, we weren’t seeing how things were evolving.”
