New Liverpool head coach Arne Slot is settling in for his second full week as Jurgen Klopp's successor.
Klopp's emotional departure marked the end of an era but the German left Anfield in a much better position to the one he inherited in October 2015, following Brendan Rodgers' dismissal. The 19-year-old enjoyed an impressive campaign for De Kuip, scoring 11 times in 37 appearances, under the Dutchman. However, the ECHO understands that while looking to sign a wide player during the forthcoming transfer window, have no current interest in making a move for Minteh despite Slot's admiration of the teenager.
The Portuguese defender has been frequently linked with a Merseyside move but the ECHO understands that he doesn't chart at the top of their targets.
