Manchester City's No.1 has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabai all summer.
Ederson has not made a decision on his Manchester City future amid interest from Al Ittihad, but conceded his is happy at the club.
"I wish from the bottom of my heart that Eddie continues with us, replacing Eddie is so difficult," the manager said. City rejected a £25m bid from Al Nassr for the Brazilian and there has been contact with Al Ittihad over a deal. The Blues want significantly more than the offer they rejected and would want time to sign a replacement.
Speaking after the game at the Yankee Stadium, he offered an update on his future, refusing to commit to the club or to leaving. "I'm happy here, having a good moment with my teammates, I'm enjoying as well to get my fitness back on track. I'm very calm, whatever happens is in God's hands and He knows the right way to go. Whatever he gives me I'll be happy with."
