A gunman who repeatedly blasted a couple's home while they were inside has been jailed for nine years. Aaron Gray jumped out a car before firing at the property in Edinburgh's Burdiehouse Avenue on August 20 2021.
The hearing was told how Stephen Wernham and his partner Angela Smith lived at the property. Around 8.40pm, Bevan pulled up in the street in a black Ford Fiesta. Gray got back in the car before the vehicle sped off. Mr Wernham was meantime heard to shout: "Dodie's shot at my wife." Top news stories today The getaway car was discovered on August 25 abandoned in Prestonpans, East Lothian. Police then spotted Bevan walking towards where the car was.
