The retailer will close a further 124 stores by early October
More than 100 Wilkos stores are set to close next week after talks to rescue the retailer fell apart.
The collapsed high street chain already announced it would be closing 52 branches this week after a previous deal failed. But it has now been forced to confirm another 124 closures - including eight in Greater Manchester. Thousands of people will lose their jobs in the stores, warehouses, and support centre, administrators also confirmed this afternoon.The eight stores set to close next week in Greater Manchester on Sunday, September 17, are:
