Más de 300 personas asistieron a un evento en el centro de San Diego el lunes por la mañana para un servicio del que muchas personas probablemente nunca hayan oído hablar. La Oficina del Tasador del Condado de San Diego está certificando documentos para uso internacional, llamados apostillas. Este martes lo continuó haciendo en el Centro de Administración del Condado.
Actualmente, la Secretaría de Estado sólo ofrece el servicio de apostilla en persona en Los Ángeles y Sacramento. Sin embargo, decidió experimentar con ubicaciones “emergentes” en varios lugares a lo largo del año. Santa Ana tendrá una ventana emergente de apostilla a finales de este mes y Riverside tendrá una a mediados de junio.
