An elderly dog who is partially blind and deaf, is lost in South Belfast after walking out of Lady Dixon Park. She vanished on a walk with her owner Angela Summers and her other dog Roxie when Bella slipped through a hedge and became disorientated in her surroundings.Angela said: "I went straight after her and almost caught up with her but she was spooked and the last I saw of her, she was running down the Lagan towpath.

"I'm just desperate to get her back home and any help would be fantastic. She is an old girl with failing eyesight and her hearing is not good either, so I'd ask people not to chase her but to try to contact me the minute they see her. We are still searching in the area. We can't give up."
