Ella Toone has opened up on living her Champions League dream with childhood club Manchester United and the impact new signings are having on the squad this season.
"I thought about that journey of the last five years at the game, and again today," she said in an interview with The Mirror. "I thought about how far we've come as a team. I think there's only four of us left from that original squad that started out . It's been a huge summer for the club after securing a second-placed finish behind Chelsea in the WSL last term, missing out on the title by just a handful of points. The importance of the transfer window was made even greater following the high-profile departures of Alessia Russo and Ona Batlle.
