Summary Season 3 of The Cleaning Lady premiered Tuesday, March 5 on FOX and signified a new era of the network TV show. Élodie Yung plays the role of Thony De La Rosa, a former surgeon from Manila who crossed the United States border to seek medical attention for her son. In a surprising twist, one of Thony's biggest pillars of support is Adan Canto's Arman Morales, the mob leader who's partially responsible for her forced involvement in organized crime.
Élodie Yung: Oh my gosh, so many. And that's the thing. We really hit it off from the pilot, Adan and I. You know when you click with someone, and you're like, "No, please don't start. No, no, no, don't laugh," because we have to be serious. It was just like this all the time with Adan. I know he loves singing as well. I would hear him sing.
Thony Is On Her Own In The Cleaning Lady Season 3 Garrett was such an important part of the show, and he really helped Thony get out of some bad situations. What might things look like for her now that she doesn't have that FBI support? Élodie Yung: Yeah, because she loves her sister. She's a sister. There is definitely guilt there that drives her and pushes her to push the boundaries because she wants her family back together. She wants Fiona back. She witnesses the repercussions on Fiona's kids and her own son. So she does feel extremely guilty about it. She'll do everything she can to overcome this situation.
Élodie Yung: She's not the bad guy, she's the new nemesis. She's the opposite force. The new big obstacle, I'd say, for Thony. What Kate del Castillo brings to her character is wonderful because she doesn't portray a bad guy. She's very fine in her work, and she really layers this character who is this matriarch, very powerful, but is also vulnerable at times.
