The family of Elsie Dot Stancombe is aiming to bring 'love and positivity to the community' seven months on from her death. Seven-year-old Elsie, six-year-old Bebe King and nine-year-old Alice da Silva Aguiar were killed during the mass stabbing at a Taylor Swift-themed workshop in Southport on July 29 last year.
It could be the most boring thing — even, like, David taking the bins out — and it was like, ‘I’ll come!’ She was grateful for life.” David Stancombe said on a school day he would have to drag Elsie out of bed but on a weekend she was raring to go at 6.30am and would be shouting 'Morning Mummy, morning Daddy!'. Since her death, the heartbroken parents have founded Elsie's Story, a charitable trust which will help the community in the name of the 'special' schoolgirl.
