Spice Girls' favourite Emma Bunton has broken down before fans on Instagram today, revealing that a recently diagnosed medical condition has prevented her from being able to sing.

Sharing a teary-eyed selfie with her 1.4 million followers late last night, the singer wrote, "I feel like I have let so many of you down today and is has left me heartbroken." Despite not giving any specifics with regard to her recent illness, the star did successfully perform before fans on Monday in Manchester and Brighton on Tuesday as part of her 'Emma Bunton and Friends' UK tour.
