Emmerdale boss Jane Hudson has teased that Cathy Hope will be part of a "challenging" and "emotional" storyline.
"They've been off screen for a few weeks and they appear where they're a foot taller and voices deeper and you go: 'Oh my gosh, we need to start growing them up in the show!' One person said: "I bet it turns out Cathy isn’t Bob’s daughter or Heath’s twin and there was a mix-up at the hospital." However, other soap watchers weren't so sure with the theory as switched at birth storylines have been done before as one viewer wrote: "Could be a medical issue we will just have to wait n see instead of guessing."
