Emmerdale fans are horrified as Robert lies to Aaron about facing life in prison
EMMERDALE fans were left horrified tonight as Robert Sugden lied to Aaron Dingle about facing life in prison for Lee's attack.
Hearing the news, she told Aaron after Robert had headed to the police station that she wouldn't be able to go through with the surrogacy, scuppering their plans to become parents. Robert didn't seem phased initially, failing to realise the charge is much more severe than GBH alone.Robert had attacked his sister Victoria's rapist Lee, putting him in hospitalHis solicitor replied: "The maximum sentence for GBH with Intent is life imprisonment."
Arriving home, Robert was calm and lied to Aaron and their families that he was only facing a charge of GBH which carries a much shorter prison sentence.Failing to tell his love the truth, Robert replied: "Yeah of course we can."
