Emmerdale has hinted that a dangerous feud could be on the horizon between village heavyweights Cain Dingle and Kim Tate .
Fans already knew that Sam hadn't intentionally "murdered" Craig, the man who assaulted his wife Lydia Dingle , and was goaded to hit the evil character by his brother. In flashback scenes that aired a week earlier, the soap showed Cain arriving in the field and witnessing Kim on her horse next to Craig's lifeless body.
As he told wife Moira Dingle what was going on, the Scottish farmer said: "My god Cain. I just can't get my head round the fact it was a horse.""Just sounds weird," Moira went on. "I'm glad - I mean that Lydia didn't have to lie and it all worked out for Sam." And while viewers saw that the equestrian's pony was spooked by Craig and seemingly protecting his owner, Kim can't prove that she didn't direct him to do the deed.
