Emmerdale star Emma Atkins has admitted she doesn't think she can fulfil one of her mum's 'hopes' as she teased a possible reality TV stint. The actress is famed for playing Charity Dingle in the ITV soap having joined the long-running show back in 2000.
Charity, meanwhile, arrived in the village for the funeral of her cousin Butch, alongside village bad boy Cain and her uncle Shadrach and quickly became a firm favourite amongst Emmerdale fans. But it seems Emma may be convinced to take another break if she can take part in Race Across The World'. The 49-year-old has revealed she would be open to branching out and taking part in the BBC reality show, which sees teams of two race across the world without smartphones, internet access or credit cards.
And, while Emma's mother is keen for her daughter to follow in the footsteps of Emmerdale co-star Lisa Riley by competing for the glitterball trophy on Strictly Come Dancing, Emma doesn't think she could cope with the pressure of the BBC One dance show.
