Emmerdale star Daisy Campbell could be set for a stint on a rival soap following her shock axe
Emmerdale 's Daisy Campbell might be heading to a competing soap after her unexpected departure from the show.
However, in a surprising turn of events this October, it was announced that the showrunners decided to write out Amelia, a move that left Daisy, aged 21, "grieving" over the sudden change. In an interview with the Mirror, she expressed her shock: "It wasn't my choice to leave Emmerdale and it was a shock at first."
A PR specialist has now highlighted that Daisy is approaching an "exciting next chapter in her career" and hinted that she could soon land a part on another soap, reports Leeds Live.
