The actor took fans by surprise as his sudden return as Aaron Dingle was unveiled at the start of Super Soap Week
Danny Miller has issued an apology as he was seen making a shock return to Emmerdale, nearly two years after he quit as a full-time cast member. Fans of the ITV soap had been desperate to know who Cain Dingle and Caleb Milligan have been keeping hostage in an empty barn.
Moira went running inside the barn when she heard a noise coming from inside, only to find a bolted door. But despite her husband's warning, she stormed in and saw a man tied up. She then muttered: "You?", leaving fans in suspense over the weekend before Aaron Dingle's face was eventually seen at the start of Monday's episode .
But he ended up fleeing the village after the tragic death of his litter sister, Liv Flaherty, before realising his mum, Chas Dingle, was still carrying on her affair with Al Chapman behind Paddy Kirk's back. "Sorry to all my friends and family for lying about where I’ve been the last 8 weeks but once again… AARON IS BACK! @emmerdale. But this time everything is different, including me and him..." The Stockport-born star then warned: "Buckle up..."
